Lake Batur is the largest lake in Bali, situated at the foot of Mount Batur. Best to enjoy the atmosphere here is during the day while enjoying lunch.

The lake is situated at the foot of Mount Batur and is believed to be an ancient caldera. The giant caldera or crater is thought to occur due to the massive eruption of Batur mountain thousands of years ago. Caldera has now flooded the water resources of most agricultural land in Bali.

Yes, the water from the lake flows to almost all major rivers in Bali as Unda River in South Bali, Bali Sunni western rivers, and Bayumala River in North Bali. From the river's waters of Lake Batur and then divided by the specific rules governing the so-called Subak.
